Today I downloaded the "ThemeGenerator_1.0.1_Source" file and tried to compile the solution using Visual Studio 2008.
However I can't get the solution to succesfully build.

One example of an error which occurs:
The tag 'ButtonImageSelector' does not exist in XML namespace 'clr-namespace:ThemeGenerator.Controls.DataInput'. Line 13 Position 16.

Another example:
'{code:LocalizedText MainWindowTitle}' value is not a valid MarkupExtension expression. Cannot resolve 'LocalizedText' in namespace 'clr-namespace:ThemeGenerator.Code'. 'LocalizedText' must be a subclass of MarkupExtension. Line 9 Position 5.

Do I need some extension to VS2008 to compile the solution?

Last week I translated some missing resources from the latest MWPSK production version v1.2.1 into Dutch.
Also the Documentation files are updated for the Dutch users.

See attached zip file.

At the MWPSK developers: Can you please replace the old version of the “Dutch localization (v1.1.4): MWPSK-Localization-NL_1.1.1.zip” with the attached new one?

Not a issue, but the version was not incremented in the web.config for version 1.2.2 download. This could lead to confusion among new users.

The appSettings version key still reads 1.2.1should read 1.2.2

Problem exists when we don't provide SMTP domain in CMS Configuration. Problem is in SectionControls\ContactForm.ascx.cs file - method btnSubmit_Click and these lines:

Closed Issue: Missing Link in Sidebar [20906]

When adding a link to the "Links" section with a blank Title the link is missing from the sidebar.
A suggested solution would be either to require a Title or set the url to the Title.

Steps to Recreate:

1.) Login in as admin.
2.) Add a "Links" section.
3.) Click on "Edit mode" in the "Links" section and select "add".
4.) Add a link with a blank Title and a valid url. Leave all other selections as default.
5.) Select "Save".
6.) If the Links section is not on the sidebar select "Send To Sidebar". (There will be an empty space underneath the "Links" section on the sidebar where the added link should be.)

Sir, Thank you for introduce 3.0 Version.
A small bug or error in Image Gallery.

Insert image form image gallery
Image gallery popup window appear
Create a folder any name
Folder created
Double click the created folder = error or bug.
Or
Select the folder (single click)
Upload the file, file uploaded but it will not go to selected folder.

Kindly fix this.

Created Issue: Problems with MWPSK "set as default" page [33435]

Hi, the "set as default" page - Default.aspx - has stopped displaying if not explicitly entered in the URL for my client's website... instead, this error displays: Could not find file '...\wwwroot\App_Data\Pages\.config'.

Any suggestions as to why this has started happening, especially when no coding changes have been made? What is the fix for this please?

Commented Issue: MWPSK Extensions (includes our solution for roles) [13162]

Hello,

finally had time to repackage a few changes we are using in our MWPSK-based solutions. They've been in place for many months so I hope there aren't (many) bugs. This involves changing a few MWPSK core files but we ensured that our changes stay backward compatible so Sections and other code should be able to work without hassle. Code has been tested with v1.1.2 and v1.1.4 RC: no problems reported. This first version will be released using MS-PL while subsequent will use a custom license to serve our own purposes. This is our way to give back to community and thank MWPSK developers which is really a good solution.

Features:

* enables role-based security for pages (not sections!) so admins can set which roles can access a specific page (when not shown to all users). Each user can be assigned to multiple roles and code will check permission against any of them. Pages whom users don't have access to won't be displayed in menu
* includes a roles editor (to add and delete roles) and a roles mapper (to assign users to roles)
* roles editor and mapper are implemented as sections so they can be deployed on any page
* includes a new page in Administration folder which already includes both controls (deploy and start using in a click)
* enables a "Visible in menu" option for pages, which can hide a specific page from menu while still letting this page to be directly linked
(this is based on Rickard Magnusson code but his code was improved as it only allowed to hide first-level pages. Our code will allow to hide pages on any depth)
* enables a "Hide to authenticated users" option for pages, which allows admin to hide specific pages when user has been authenticated. Can be used to hide a registration page or pages which include contents suitable for anonymous users only.
* enables a "Sidebard HTML contents" option for each pages, so any HTML extra content can be shown right after the sidebar. This allows admins to put extra contents where sidebar is and enables more complex scenarios for real-world portals. HTML contents can be customized on a per-page basis.

Again, we tried to ensure that once our modifications will be installed, there will be no modifications in MWPSK base code unless our functions will be enabled. This should ensure maximum backward compatibility with standard code.

Our internal code has been implemented using AJAX but such functionalities has been stripped off since standard MWPSK doesn't support AJAX. If any of you have extended your portals using AJAX, you should be able to put our code inside an UpdatePanel for better experience.

We would be glad if any of you who will find any bug will report to me even if, as I said, we're using this code since 4-5 months without problems. Hope I exported all relevant files ;-)

I've upgraded the extensions here and elsewhere to MWPSK 1.3.2 using WinMerge and compiled and published to website using Visual Studio 10 with no issues thus far.

The "Visible" checkbox does not work as documented.
If the page is not "visible" it should not appear in the menus, but users should be able to reach it directly, for example, from a link on another page.

The actual behaviour is that the page is displayed in the menus, but users cannot reach it by clicking on the menu or from a link on another page; the user is sent to the home page instead.

If anonymous users are not allowed access to the page, then the menu does not offer the page to anonymous users, but does offer the page to logged-in users (which is incorrect). However, logged-in users are still not able to reach the page from the menu or from a direct link, but are sent to the home page instead.

Just posting a new POLL section developed by me which I thought could be useful to a lot of you.

Following are the features provided by this section,
* The system users with access to add a section can define the poll question and answers
* The system users as well as anonymous users can vote for the published poll question.
* After vote is submitted the section will show results of the poll in simple graphical format.

The code has been tested with v1.3.0

The instructions for installing this section are included in the attached ZIP file. Hope it will be useful.

Hi, I downloaded Starter Kit awhile ago, I have been researching about it and try to personalize it as much as possible. Today (actually some weeks ago) I find myself in a problem.

In one of the sections(downloads) that I created, I added a HTML control, and at the same time I added a Flash animation in this HTML.

My problem began when I was at a friend's house and I wanted to show him my work. But he didn't have Google Chrome or Mozzila Firefox(the ones I use the most) so we opened the webpage with IE8. I realized that for some reason IE8(some time after I realized Mozilla does it too) makes the text in the main body smaller. It seems it does not read the specifications about the margins and padding. The flash animation looks a lot smaller and it can not be read.

Hope you can give me a clue of what is the problem.

Basically what I did was select the "roundedblack" theme I had available and modify the css files, redirecting some things, changing colours, margings, paddings, etc. Now it looks something like this...

But try to open it with Chrome, and after that with IE or Mozilla, even with Opera, the text in the main body gets smaller and if you compare carefully, the text under the header, next to the buttons, goes until the middle of the header or so(with Mozilla, Opera or IE) but with Chrome it has no problem at all and it takes 100% of the webpage.

Hope you can help me with this, I'll be really thankful
