Hello, the package is the best small-medium sized website cms, I've ever seen. I know a lot of things about CMS'es I have developed my own CMS in asp but there is no reason to port it in asp.net. Your package makes possible almost everything I need with EasyControls. I'm willing to help you converting My web pages starter kit, to VB.Net. I already use, understand and develope with the kit and I've converted parts of it in VB.Net for my personal website (http://www.pmi.gr). Still the core of the cms can not be easily converted so I may have some questions...

Hello pappas79,

Have you ever tried SharpDevelop IDE in which you let translate C# into VB.NET and vice versa. It sits under Tools.

See link : http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/

Good luck and hope this helps a little,

Hello PeterNL.

SharpDevelop was my primary thought but after a while I found out that "Translation" have many problems. The most common problem is that C# seems to be case sensitive so C# developers may use VariableX as object but then they declare a new variablex as string so converting the code to VB.Net which is not case sensitive creates many duplicate variables! So I have to read C# and completely understand what is going on and then line by line check for problems and make variablex->variablex1.

If I had a way to convert files one by one would be easier but MWPSK core has to be converted all at once! because in APP_CODE directory all files has to be either in VB.net or C# but not mixed. In any other case I convert the files one by one so debuging is easier...

Thank you for supporting the effort.
