I would like to run my own javascript onload. I created a js.file and put it on site.master header section. I added the function on onload
<asp:MultiView runat="server" ID="multiview" OnLoad="startAnimation();" >
It has errors:
1. ')' exprect
2. Invalid expression term')'

Would you tell me how to make it work? Thanks.

I think you mixed up with server and client code. You cannot call javascript directly from serverside asp.
If you have a server event , remove the (); and set OnLoad="startAnimation", but I don't think that Multiview has an Onload event.
